香道之魂，千年傳承, 自古被譽為「香中聖品」在香道文化中佔據至高地位。明代《香乘》更詳載其「清潤甘甜，透竅安神」之效。佛教中用其熏香上供佛和菩萨。印度人相信檀香有助于打坐时排除杂念，凝神聚气。古人云：「一炷檀香消晝永」，宋代黃庭堅更以「隱几香一炷，靈臺湛空明」道出檀香與心境的共鳴。

老山檀香不似俗香濃烈逼人，而是如謙和君子，燃香时无丝毫烟火燥气，散發溫暖甜潤的奶香，初聞溫潤，漸而深邃，尾調帶有一絲木質清涼，香味在空气中非常稳定，層次綿長，最終化作一縷縈繞不散的靜氣，久聞不膩。

India sandalwood is gentle and subtle, unlike common incense. When burned, it emits a warm, sweet, milky fragrance that starts soft and deepens, finishing with a cool woodiness. The scent is stable and layered, transforming into a soothing calm that remains pleasant over time.
《本草綱目》
檀香氣味辛、溫、無毒。主治消風熱腫毒，治中惡鬼氣，殺蟲。又可煎服，止心腹痛。」這裡提到檀香具有辛溫的特性，可用於消除風熱導致的腫毒，抵御外界不良病邪之氣，還能殺蟲。在治療方面，以煎湯內服的方式，對於緩解心腹部位的疼痛有一定作用。不過現代使用中，老山檀香更多被用於香道、工藝品等領域。

南洋瑰寶，星洲沉香，得名於古代海上絲路的稱謂。實則產自印尼諸島熱帶雨林。印尼的鷹木香樹是產生沈香的主要樹種，其結出的沈香在古代就久負盛名，但因數量稀少，只有王公貴族才有緣獲取。早在唐宋時期，阿拉伯商人便將這「南洋奇香」經海上香料之路帶往中土。明代《東西洋考》記載：「星洲沉氣烈而韻長，有破悶醒神之效」，清代《香乘》更稱其「香氣雄健，如壯士擊劍，自成一格」。這些沈香在港口聚集，香氣久久不散，因此被統稱為「星洲」系沈香 。隨著時間推移，「星洲」系沈香逐漸被人們所熟知。
Nanyang treasures, is named after the ancient maritime Silk Road. It originates from the tropical rainforests of the Indonesian islands. Since ancient times, the eagle-wood tree in Indonesia is the primary species that produces agarwood. However, due to its scarcity, only nobles could acquire it. As early as the Tang and Song dynasties, Arab merchants introduced this "Nanyang exotic fragrance" to China during the Tang and Song dynasties. The Ming Dynasty noted its strong aroma and invigorating effects, while the Qing Dynasty described it as robust and unique. Over time, this agarwood became widely recognized.

有關沈香的內容，它將沈香歸為「香木類」，並寫道：「木之心節置水則沈，故名沈水，亦曰水沈。半沈者為棧香，不沈者為黃熟香。氣味是「辛，微溫，無毒」，主治「風水毒腫，去惡氣；主心腹痛，，邪鬼疰氣，清人神。
It is classified as a "fragrant wood." It states: "The heartwood sinks in water, hence it is called 'sinking wood' or 'water sinking.' Those that partially sink are known as 'stagnant fragrance,' while those that do not sink are called 'yellow ripe fragrance.' Its properties are described as 'pungent, slightly warm, and non-toxic,' primarily treating 'wind, water toxins, and swelling; alleviating abdominal pain, dispelling evil spirits, and clearing the mind and spirit.'
